Ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol Manganese Chloride has high antioxidant activity and can inhibit the formation of amyloid β-protein and related amyloid fibrils. There are two important components in the human antioxidant system, Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) and Catalase (CAT). "SOD and CAT" need to act synergistically to eliminate "ROS". However, Ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol Manganese Chloride could achieve same effects independently.
